At Maayu, we are setting a new global standard for the ingredients that touch your skin. One underwear at a time.

  • Health and Wellbeing

Our products are designed for wellbeing, eliminating harmful chemical dyes from contact with your most sensitive skin. We believe that if it's good for the planet, it's good for us. Human lives are connected to and dependent on the environment, so caring for one means caring for the other.

    Earth-Friendly Choices

Our materials are unbleached, undyed, and unprocessed because we believe in being minimal. The cotton we use is either 100% certified organic or handmade and indigenous. This ensures a very low footprint and keeps our products truly pure and natural. Where we use colour, we use only natural plant dyes.

  • Our Impact on Artisan Community

Every Maayu product is special because of the people behind it, whether they are handloom artisans, indigenous cotton farmers, or skilled workers at a fair trade factory. Handmade fabrics and craft elements made by artisans in Goa are part of what makes every pair of Maayu underwear genuinely unique.

  • Grow More Green

Growing trees is important to us. Why? We plant trees because we believe we all should. As a business, we are conscious of the resources we use, even when that footprint is small. We at Maayu plant trees because we love them and because healthy ecosystems sustain all of us. Our aim is to grow a forest.

  • Reused Packaging and Low-Waste Production

We avoid all unnecessary packaging. Our goal is to go fully packaging-free. In the meantime, we collect and reuse packaging that comes into our office and homes to ship our products, keeping waste as close to zero as possible.

    Fun Work Culture

We are building a business with a soul, from a small village in Goa, with our growing team has a footprint in the UK. We co-share a workspace with Okapi Vegan Kitchen, eat healthy, locally-sourced vegan food, make compost, stay involved & engaged with the local community.
